Gentle Intimate Exfoliating Serum
Designed with women's wellbeing in mind. This Gentle Intimate Exfoliating Serum contains a carefully selected combination of 4 Hydroxy Acids to help visibly reduce the appearance of pimples and ingrown hairs. It is specifically formulated for the most sensitive areas of the body; bikini line, hair-bearing genital areas (mons pubis and labia majora) as well as inner thighs.
Salicylic acid (Also known as Beta Hydroxy Acid or BHA) in this formula works by penetrating deep into skin’s pores to unclog and dissolve excess oil and dead skin cells to address pimples and inflammation around ingrown hair. Mandelic Acid and Lactic Acid (Also known as Alpha Hydroxy Acids or AHA) are gentle exfoliating agents that penetrate the skin loosening the intercellular cement (The glue that holds the skin cells together) to allow dead skin cells to fall away. Gluconolactone (Also known as Poly Hydroxy Acid or PHA) is a new generation of exfoliating agents which work similar to AHAs but gentler. Gluconolactone, Mandelic Acid and Lactic Acid have different molecular sizes allowing them to penetrate into different layers of the superficial part of the skin. Together they help increase the speed of skin cell turnover to clear pimples and ingrown hairs faster.
The addition of Allantoin soothes inflammation, whilst Propanediol and Sodium Lactate provide essential hydration and contribute to the skin’s natural barrier function.
End result is effective exfoliation of the skin on multiple layers, unclogging pores, and dissolving dead skin to help combat breakouts and ingrown hairs.

Gluconolactone
- A Poly Hydroxy Acid (PHA) that works on the surface of the skin dissolving the glue that holds dead skin cells together to reveal the fresher skin beneath
- Increases the skin cell turnover to helps bring pimples and ingrown hairs to the surface faster
- New generation of exfoliants that is unique due to its large molecule. This allows it to work on the skin's superficial layer with minimal penetration and irritation

Salicylic Acid
- A Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) that is oil-soluble. As a result can readily penetrate through the lipid layers between skin cells and inside pimples
- Works deep inside the pimple to dissolve trapped dead skin cells and excess sebum that lead to breakouts
- Contains anti-inflammatory properties that help red inflamed pimples go away faster
- Helps clean pores and speeds up removal of the dead skin cells from the top layer of the skin to prevent recurrence
Mandelic Acid
- An Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) that remove the top layer of dead skin cells and stimulate the production of new cells

- One of the largest molecules in the AHA family with minimal penetration and irritation ideal for sensitive skin

Lactic Acid
- An Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) that speeds up the process of desquamation (Which is the natural process of shedding dead skin cells)
- Smaller molecule compared to Mandelic Acid and Gluconolactone with a slightly deeper penetration allowing multi-level exfoliation

Allantoin
- Powerful Humectant that increases the water content of the skin's extracellular matrix to hydrate the skin
- The anti-inflammatory, anti-irritant and soothing action helps to calm red inflamed pimples and ingrown cysts
- Promotes new cell growth and skin rejuvenation
- Speeds up skin cell turnover by increasing and enhancing the desquamation of the upper layers of dead skin cells, therefore increasing the smoothness of the skin
Propanediol
- A humectant with skin-friendly performance, including no irritation. Ideal for sensitive skin
- Absorbs the moisture in the air nearby and retains it in the outer layer of the skin to increase skin hydration
- Attracts water from deeper layers of skin to the outer skin layers in dry environments
- Creates a film on the surface of skin to reduce transepidermal water loss (TEWL) from the outer skin layer which will increase skin hydration
Sodium Lactate
- Part of our skin's natural moisturizing factor (NMF) which attracts and retains water on the skin to reduce dehydration
- Forms a film on the skin to reduce transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and skin dryness
