Key Ingredients

Microencapsulated Pure Retinol (Vitamin A)

• Retinol, a derivative of vitamin A, has clinically proven to promote various anti-ageing benefits in both the epidermis and dermis
• It regulates fibroblast function to upregulate Elastin, Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid production
• It improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by stimulating collagen production, slowing down collagen breakdown within skin, accelerating cell reproduction and normalizing skin keratinization
• Regular application improves skin elasticity, thickness and firmness effectively improving crepey and saggy skin.
• It stimulates new blood vessel formation that promotes delivery of nutrients and oxygen to skin cells resulting in faster repair of the damaged skin tissue like stretch marks.

• Found mainly in the seeds of the Indian plant Psoralea corylifolia (babchi) and has been used in traditional Indian and Chinese medicine for centuries
• Recent clinical studies have demonstrated that Bakuchiol offers potent anti-ageing benefits such as reduction in fine lines and wrinkles as well as improvement in skin firmness and elasticity with a good skin tolerance
• It is the most well-known phyto-retinol. Phyto-Retinol is an umbrella term for plant-based ingredients that have retinol-like activity but are not part of the retinoid family. Due to the above-mentioned concentration‐dependent side effects of Retinol, keeping Retinol concentration within safe limits and combining it with a well-established phyto-retinol will provide amplified anti-aging benefits.
• It can enhance the activity of human skin fibroblasts and promote the synthesis of skin collagen, thus achieving its anti-ageing effect
• Further studies demonstrated antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effects of Bakuchiol. Centella Asiatica Extract

• Centella asiatica, also known by common names Cica, Gotu kola or Tiger Grass, is a medicinal plant that has been used in folk medicine for hundreds of years as well as in scientifically oriented medicine.
• The active compounds include pentacyclic triterpenes, mainly asiaticoside, asiatic acid and madecassic acid. They stimulate collagen synthesis which it is a key element in skin repair and regeneration.
• It is effective in the treatment of wounds, scratches and burns through promoting fibroblast proliferation and increasing the synthesis of collagen as well as inhibiting the inflammatory phase of scars
• Clinical research indicate that it can be used in the treatment of photoaging skin, cellulite and striae (stretch marks)

Sodium Hyaluronate (sodium salt of Hyaluronic Acid)

• Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a naturally occurring polysaccharide that is present in many sites in the human body especially skin where it has a protective, structuring and shock-absorbing role
• It has the ability to bind water up to 1000 times its volume and provides firmness and radiance to the skin
• Can be used topically to regenerate the skin and support hydration and elasticity
• Enhances the penetration of active ingredients through the stratum corneum (SC), which behaves as a barrier to the entry of the molecule into the deeper layers of the skin
• Topical preparations containing HA are used for their healing properties and decreasing skin irritation
