Our Intimate Winter Skincare Routine includes 3 products from our intimate care range which have been specifically designed with women's wellbeing in mind.

During winter, women can experience a range of intimate skin conditions due to the cold, dry air and indoor heating. The vulva as well as bikini line, hair-bearing genital areas (mons pubis and labia majora), thighs, buttocks and breasts can experience dryness, redness, itchiness, and flakiness. Conditions like Keratosis Pilaris (KP) can particularly worsen during the winter months.

Cold weather reduces the humidity in the air, leading to a loss of moisture from the skin. Indoor heating further exacerbates this by creating a dry environment, which strips the skin of its natural moisture. These factors can result in a weakened skin barrier, making it more susceptible to irritation and discomfort.

To manage intimate skin conditions during winter, it's crucial to maintain proper hydration and protection. This routine is designed particularly for women's intimate skin to alleviate symptoms such as:

For an effective winter skincare routine, we recommend following the below steps:

Morning

1. Cleanse intimate skin using the Gentle Intimate Cleansing Gel in the shower.
2. Moisturise the vulva skin by applying Ceramide Vulva Barrier Cream all over the area.
3. Moisturise other intimate areas of concern (bikini line, hair-bearing genital areas such as mons pubis and labia majora, thighs, buttocks and breasts using the Urea Body Smoothing Cream

Night

1. Cleanse intimate skin gently with a damp towel.
2. Moisturise the vulva skin by applying Ceramide Vulva Barrier Cream all over the area.
3. Moisturise other intimate areas of concern (bikini line, hair-bearing genital areas such as mons pubis and labia majora, thighs, buttocks and breasts using the Urea Body Smoothing Cream

Ceramide Vulva Barrier Cream

This Ceramide Vulva Barrier Cream is an oil-free, fragrance free, non-comedogenic and fast absorbing formula to restore compromised lipid barrier of the vulva skin which otherwise can cause dryness and redness. It contains a skin-identical ceramide complex to instantly act like a seal between skin cells to lock in moisture and protect the skin from water loss, allergens and infectious microorganisms. Niacinamide and Phytosphingosines in this formula increase the synthesis of ceramides and free fatty acids in the skin for a long-lasting skin protection. Anti-inflammatory action of Bisabolol reduces redness and irritation while Squalane and propanediol provide skin flexibility and deep moisturisation. The combination of Lactic Acid and Sodium Lactate adjusts the healthy pH of feminine genital area and maintains the natural acidity of the intimate zone.

Urea Body Smoothing Cream

This Urea Body Smoothing Cream is a non-comedogenic and fast absorbing formula designed for dry, rough and bumpy skin patches on the body. The formula contains two powerhouse moisturising ingredients, Urea and Lactic Acid. They both occur naturally in our skin as part of our natural moisturising factor (NMF). They are effective humectants that hold onto water and provide deep moisturising to tackle dry, flaky and itchy skin. They are also effective keratolytic agents meaning they can help reduce dead skin build up on the surface to smoothen rough and bumpy skin. Keratolytics are especially helpful in skin conditions caused by clogged hair follicles such as Keratosis pilaris (KP) commonly known as strawberry skin or chicken skin. Colloidal Oatmeal in this formula contains lipids that nourish, moisturise and soften the skin texture to combat roughness and flakiness. These lipids re-enforce the skin barrier and replace skin's lost oils in dry and irritated skin. It also has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that help decrease itchiness and redness for an effective soothing action. Betaine in this formula is an osmoprotectant which occurs naturally in our skin and controls the right water balance in cells to protect skin cells against dehydration. Shea Butter is a naturally occurring plant oil that contains many beneficial nutrients including vitamins A, E and F as well as anti-inflammatory and antioxidant compounds. It effectively locks in moisture and softens the skin without clogging pores.

Gentle Intimate Cleansing Gel

This Gentle Intimate Cleansing Gel is specifically formulated for the sensitive skin of the feminine intimate area. It is the next generation intimate wash which is sulfate, soap and fragrance free. It contains mild cleansing agents instead to avoid striping natural lipids from the surface of the skin. Skin identical Biolipids (vegetable derived) in this formula leave a protective layer after each use to strengthen the skin barrier and alleviate dryness. It also contains soothing Aloe Vera Extract and Allantoin to provide synergistic anti-inflammatory and anti-irritant benefits. The balanced pH combined with Lactic Acid ensures high compatibility with the feminine microbiome making this product gentle enough for daily use.
