Our Intimate Menopause Management Routine includes 3 products from our intimate care range which have been specifically designed with women's wellbeing in mind.

Menopause is a time of significant and rapid skin changes. It induces cosmetic and structural changes to the skin due to rapid decline in oestrogen production causing the skin to age more rapidly. Oestrogen can increase skin collagen content (one of the main structural proteins within skin), oil production and water retention to support skin thickness, elasticity and hydration.

Vulva skin goes through the above mentioned changes just like skin in other parts of the body. Additionally, Vulvovaginal changes that happen perimenopause, can leave this area vulnerable to various complications. Less oestrogen may cause the vulva tissue to become thinner, drier, and less elastic. Vaginal secretions are reduced, resulting in decreased lubrication. Reduced levels of oestrogen also result in an increase in vaginal pH, which makes the vagina less acidic and more at risk of infections.

This routine is designed particularly for women's vulva skin to alleviate menopausal symptoms such as:

In this routine, Gentle Intimate Cleansing Gel will gently remove sweat and vaginal discharge. Mild cleansing agents in this product have minimal impact on the vulva microbiome and natural skin lipids, while Lactic Acid and Sodium Lactate will re-adjust the vulva pH to its natural acidic pH to make it an uninhabitable environment for pathogens. It deposits Vegetable derived Biolipids on the skin to compensate for the loss of lipids due to Oestrogen decline while Aloe Vera Extract and Allantoin offset irritation.

Prebiotic Intimate Hydrating Gel is this routine, delivers the much needed hydration to compensate for the lost water due to increased transepidermal water loss (TEWL). Chicory prebiotics in this product are bio-selective food supplements which strengthen the protective microbiome of the sensitive genital skin. It also includes Lactic Acid and Sodium Lactate combination for pH adjustment throughout the day. It contains a carefully selected humectant combination as well as natural moisturising factors (NMF) that are naturally present within the skin to act like a water reservoir and release moisture gradually over time for long-lasting comfort.

Skin-identical ceramide complex in the Ceramide Vulva Barrier Cream, work on repairing the compromised skin lipid barrier to seal in moisture while Niacinamide and Phytosphingosines increase the natural Ceramide production for long term intimate dryness management. Squalane restores the skin's flexibility, Bisabolol offsets redness and irritation.

For an effective menopause management routine, we recommend following the below steps:

Morning

1. Cleanse vulva skin using the Gentle Intimate Cleansing Gel in the shower.
2. Hydrate the vulva skin by applying a thin layer of Prebiotic Intimate Hydrating Gel all over the area. Allow to absorb for a few minutes before proceeding to the next step.
3. Moisturise the vulva skin by applying Ceramide Vulva Barrier Cream all over the area.

Night

1. Cleanse vulva skin gently with a damp towel.
2. Hydrate the vulva skin by applying a thin layer of Prebiotic Intimate Hydrating Gel all over the area. Allow to absorb for a few minutes before proceeding to the next step.
3. Moisturise the vulva skin by applying Ceramide Vulva Barrier Cream all over the area.

Gentle Intimate Cleansing Gel

This Gentle Intimate Cleansing Gel is specifically formulated for the sensitive skin of the feminine intimate area. It is the next generation intimate wash which is sulfate, soap and fragrance free. It contains mild cleansing agents instead to avoid striping natural lipids from the surface of the skin. Skin identical Biolipids (vegetable derived) in this formula leave a protective layer after each use to strengthen the skin barrier and alleviate dryness. It also contains soothing Aloe Vera Extract and Allantoin to provide synergistic anti-inflammatory and anti-irritant benefits. The balanced pH combined with Lactic Acid ensures high compatibility with the feminine microbiome making this product gentle enough for daily use.

It contains anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory agents to alleviate irritation and inflammation for continuous comfort. The balanced pH combined with prebiotics encourages the development of a healthy microbiome which assists in reducing odour, redness, and itchiness.

This Ceramide Vulva Barrier Cream is an oil-free, fragrance free, non-comedogenic and fast absorbing formula to restore compromised lipid barrier of the vulva skin which otherwise can cause dryness and redness. It contains a skin-identical ceramide complex to instantly act like a seal between skin cells to lock in moisture and protect the skin from water loss, allergens and infectious microorganisms. Niacinamide and Phytosphingosines in this formula increase the synthesis of ceramides and free fatty acids in the skin for a long-lasting skin protection.
